We see occasional smiles from Abby which brings joy to our hearts because we know it must be hard to consider smiling when she feels so awful. She smiles most when we tell her funny things that Daniel and Elizabeth say and do. She also got a very big smile when she saw pictures of her new baby cousin, Axel, who was born on June 13. She thinks he's as cute as Elizabeth :)
We pray with expectation that in a few days her counts will begin to recover. God has been so good to us and we thank Him for that. Please continue to pray that she will develop no infections while her counts are down.

Even with all that is happening, Abby's personality is shining through. She's the EverReady bunny! Continued major prayers from here to there.

I can attest to the fact that Abby's little pink ballet slippers and her lovely socks with the dangley purple beads get a lot of attention on the "oval track" at the hospital. We helped to pass the time on our laps by singing patriotic songs and Old MacDonald Had a Farm. She sure is a trooper, never complaining, not even when she's not quite into the task at hand. She sure is a wonderful patient. I'm praying for a full and quick recovery.

My prayers for Abby and all of her family are continual. CR and Amy, you'll never know what powers of example you are for me right now. Please tell Abby I think of her often and am amazed at her bravery.
